Marvin Valverde Treasurer
I am a Junior studying Chemistry. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I plan to attend graduate school to earn a Ph.D. in Chemistry. I first got into Astronomy when I began to learn about the planets in elementary school. Every night I would go out, lay on my back, and stare at the night sky. I am always looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge and entertain myself.

Youssef Mroue Marketing Agent
Hello, I’m Youssef Mroue and I am currently a senior graduating spring 2019 with a BS in Mathematics and a minor in Chemistry. I really enjoy the different perspectives of analysis involved in higher level math which lead me to my career choice of Data Analysis. I am currently enrolled in an online degree specializing in Data Analysis but working with another institution does not take any of the love I have for UH. Having the opportunity to be an officer in ASUH is my first of many steps to start giving back to UH in any way I can.

Currently into my Junior year here at University of Houston as a Physics major. I plan on attaining a Masters in Space Architecture from University of Houston. One of my favorite things to do is foster student achievement through working with others. When I’m not managing code, I like to unwind with a good dose of nature followed by an unreasonable amount of time tinkering with computers. I’m currently doing Astrobiological research for Dr. Renshaw and the HASP(High Altitude Student Platform) team!
